Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is the process when we work with Challenge Applications?
It all starts with a conversation. In our first meeting, we ask what outcomes you’re hoping for and which group you’d like us to serve—emerging leaders, faculty, staff, students, or other stakeholders like school boards or parent groups. Once we identify your audience and goals, we help refine realistic outcomes, consider group size, location, timing, and budget.
We then send you a customized snapshot proposal for quick review. After any needed adjustments, we finalize the plan through a Memorandum of Understanding or invoice. Proof of insurance for our LLC is available upon request.
2. Where do you conduct programs?
We come to you. Most of our programs are conducted onsite to save your team time and money. However, we also facilitate offsite retreats and workshops across Washington and nationwide.
3. How much do your programs cost?
Our base rate starts at $2,000 for a senior facilitator. Final cost depends on travel, group size, program length, scope of work, and any added services. We're happy to draft a proposal that fits your needs and budget.
4. What about mentoring and coaching services?
Mentoring and coaching range from $125–$165/hour per person, based on the level of service. Most sessions are delivered via Zoom, but in-person site visits are possible when needed. We partner with you to assess leadership needs and build capacity.
5. What types of programs do you offer for parents?
Our parent sessions are designed for those moments when it feels like kids should’ve come with a manual. We focus on emotional intelligence, mindset, and how parents can support learning without defaulting to how they were taught. Sessions include insights on brain development, the myth of learning styles, and honoring each child’s God-given identity and strengths.
6. How do you support school culture?
We help Catholic schools cultivate strong, faith-centered cultures rooted in trust, mission, and relational intelligence. Services include culture-building workshops, recalibration retreats, and leadership development focused on alignment and community.
7. What student programs do you offer?
Our experiential workshops for grades 5–8 focus on teamwork, leadership, identity in Christ, and building classroom community. These sessions support academic achievement and social-emotional growth. We’re fans of the mantra: build, belong, believe, become.
8. What professional development do you provide for faculty?
We design relevant, thematic, and engaging PD aligned with your Catholic mission. Topics include collaboration, communication, emotional intelligence, and practices that strengthen faculty teams. We know clock hours matter to maintain certifications, so discussing these needs should be a part of our initial conversations.
9. What is the “Recalibrate” session?
A mid-year tune-up designed to realign your team around mission, values, and goals. It’s a powerful way to reset culture, boost morale, and sustain momentum into the second half of the year.
10. Can you support our school’s leadership pipeline?
Yes. We work with formal and informal leaders, offering coaching, emerging leader development, and thought partnership. A well-coached team member can be a leadership multiplier for your school. We also host a multi-week PD called Emerging Leaders Institute; these open-enrollment courses are built of cohorts of other professionals who have been designated by their administrators to test the waters of leadership.
