Our staff are trained and experienced before working with groups on their own. At a minimum, staff receive 40 hours of instruction that focus on technical and process skills for working with small groups. Additional training that hones particular areas of interest typically follow.
After three years, staff qualify to enter the advanced training cycle where they receive an additional 40 hours of instruction on team models, extended study in leadership, rescue techniques, and advanced safety skills for operating high course elements.
Staff Diversity
Our current staff brings experience from higher education, executive level leaders in social-sectors, military service, K-12 education, Christian faith-formation, natural resources management, retreat ministry, summer camp management, to name a few.
We are diverse in culture, age, faith-background, and yet we are fully aligned in believing that team development can occur when using experiential learning as the core of our company's approach.
